Cubs Scouts(age 8 – 10 1/2 )

Cub Scouts, are the third section of the Scout movement and meet in Packs.

Cub Scouts work towards badges such as the Creative, Fitness, Outdoor or Community Challenge Badges. They earn these by helping to plan a camp, learning new things, for example what it’s like to be a Cub Scout in another country and discovering and mastering new skills and lighting fires.

There is a huge range of activities for Cubs!

At their meetings in their Group headquarters*, at a local camp site or at their local park, they gain self-confidence and develop strong friendships.

In Falkes (Luton) Cubs camp under canvas, go for hikes, cook outdoors, and practice bicycle maintenance. They take part in District events, such as a sports day or an arts and craft day; and attend County events such as County Cub Scout Camp.
