Falkes Scout District Beaver Party

On Saturday 1st December Wigmore Church was the base for the District Beaver
annual Christmas party.

Approximately 100 beavers were in attendance and got to
enjoy a number of party games involving balloons, followed by a well deserved boost
of energy from juice and biscuits.

This then led to the main event a drum workshop delivered by Chris Puleston, the
beavers were introduced to a variety of instruments including drums, bells and even a
didgeridoo!

The Beavers joined in following instructions on how to play the instruments, making
the hall come alive with the sound of amazing drumming beats and percussion
sounds.

A beaver from Saxon group commented “I enjoyed the music best, getting to
play different instruments. My hands ache from beating the drums but it was fun!”.
Thanks to all those involved in organising the event, lots of Fun was had by all.
