Luton Scouts have been recognised as growth champions by Mark Tarry Chief Commissioner for England Scouts for increasing their membership.
Icknield District gained a massive 17.8% from 616 in 2015 to 726 in 2016 on the back of a new Scout group that added 77 members to the total.
Falkes District had a more modest 2.8% increase from 602 to 619 members.
Both District Commissioners were quick to say ‘Thank You’ to all their leaders who made this possible.
