Special guest was Justin Dealey, presenter and reporter for Three Counties Radio who was pleased to present stories and answer questions about Media and his work..
The focus of Media on behalf of Scouting in Luton is important. To have these young people presenting the Luton Scouting Story will benefit the Movements image in the minds of the local community.
An extract from Emily’s comments “I attended the first ever Luton YSP course last October. I wouldn’t necessarily say that I was timid but at the beginning of the course I didn’t know anyone and so I kept quiet. ………………………………………………………………………………………… I can honestly say that it could have been way better, but that’s the beauty of a course such as this one. It gives you a safe place to make those mistakes before you go off into the real world.
Being able to see the confidence boost the experience of the new YSPs made me realise the true impact that Scouting in general and this course in particular had on me. This made me so proud of myself and the others around me.”
