Date: 27th Sep 2020 Author: Gerald Law

Scouting HQ advise, with guidance from the National Youth Agency (NYA), that our youth sector remains AMBER.
No additional measures except a risk assessment are required to comply with Covid-19 guidance is 15 young people and 5 adults. No camping or residential activities.
Despite the recent change to social gathering restrictions (9 September 2020), we can confirm that as an essential service, youth sector activity can continue unchanged where COVID secure to NYA guidance standards.
The government has confirmed that as an essential service, youth sector activity can continue, this includes Scouting. We follow The Scouts restart guidance, which is in line with COVID which can be found at https://www.falkesscouts.org.uk/members/coronavirus . Government and NYA standards which can be found via https://www.falkesscouts.org.uk/members/adult-support.

Agreed protocol, procedures and robust risk assessments need to place to protect our young people and volunteers. These links can also be found for both Luton Districts via https://www.falkesscouts.org.uk/members/coronavirus .
