Luton Hoo – Luton Sea Scouts and 50 acre lake.
Designed by landscape artist Capability Brown 300 years ago, Luton Hoo boasts over 1,600 acres of parkland including a specially constructed 50 acre lake and a stately home.
It is here, beside the water, that Luton Sea Scouts spend their summers enjoying water activities.
You can join them and learn kayaking, raft building and power boat action at special water activities days.

Orbital Trampoline Park
The park offers fun and many experience such as 150 trampolines, a dodgeball court, basketball lanes, a ninja warrior course, rock climbing wall, gladiator beams, a five-lane foam pit (including a 6ft high-dive), a meltdown machine and Much More for all ages.
Access to a café . Holiday Camps have been added to the list of activities.
Dedicated sessions can be found for Children Under 5’s, Children with Special Needs.

Tokko Youth Centre
TOKKO is a dynamic charity based in Luton town centre which supports young people aged 13-19 (up to 24 with disabilities) proving a safe space with passionate staff who are always willing to help.
Lots of funs activities with something for everyone and every taste.in Luton with an Indoor Climbing room, Café and other activity areas for hire.

Stockwood Discovery Centre
Stockwood Discovery Centre, formerly known as Stockwood Craft Museum, is one of two free admission museums situated in Luton . The museums in Luton are a part of a charitable trust, Luton Culture. Lots of interesting stuff in the galleries, farm exhibits, beautiful gardens and open spaces. Play area is nice but could be a bit more there. Food was nice in the café Museum of carriages

Wardown House, Museum and Gallery
Wardown House, Museum and Gallery is situated in the beautiful landscaped Wardown Park, on the outskirts of Luton town centre. The museum houses a range of displays throughout the building, including the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment Gallery and the popular Luton Life Gallery. The museum underwent a redevelopment during 2016, reopening in April 2017. Wardown House, Museum and Gallery also holds events and activities for all ages and interests throughout the year.

About Woodside Animal Farm
You can get up close and personal with our animals at Woodside Animal Farm. Feed them, pet them and even cuddle them during our ‘Cuddly Encounters’ hands on sessions.
As well as our wide range of farm, zoo and exotic animals there are tractor and trailer rides, animal demonstrations, a mini fun fair, crazy golf and lots of outdoor play fun. For rainy days and when the kids just want to run wild there’s the heated indoor soft play centre and cafe serving hot meals and snacks, a selection of rich and warming coffees and a tempting range of delicious cakes and treats.
Our well stocked gift shop has a good range of gifts, toys and pocket money treats. Our award winning poultry centre stocks a vast range of livestock, feed and accessories, and our friendly helpful staff are on hand to give you all the advice you need!

London Gliding Club, Dunstable
Steeped in history, the London Gliding Club has been based at the foot of the Dunstable Downs since the 1930’s.
London Gliding Club welcomes new members and we believe we offer an ideal place to meet friends and to enjoy the wonderful sport of gliding. Our facilities are top notch, both on the ground and in the air. We are conveniently close to London, and have sufficient airspace to provide excellent local and cross country flying.
With free reciprocal membership, loads of gliders, tugs and winch cables – a visit to the Dunstable Downs is always a good idea! We have an excellent restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch (and yummy cakes). To top it all we are open 364 of the year.
We welcome groups such as Explorer Scouts to enjoy a gliding session with our gliding instructors. It’s a chance to learn a skill that takes you on a fantastic journey around the skies above Bedfordshire.

Dunstable Downs – for kite flying and more
Stand on top of Dunstable Downs for a view that will simply take your breath away. These Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) are designated for the quality of their chalk grasslands.
As well as two Scheduled Ancient Monuments (Five Knolls and Medieval Rabbit Warrens) there are many other historical features and the site has much to offer you.
The chalk grasslands of the Downs have miles of footpaths and several circular walks, a fascinating history and an abundance of plants and wildlife.
Dunstable Downs is within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the highest point in Bedfordshire.
The wind-swept ridge provides ideal conditions for a variety of air sports, especially kite flying. On calmer days it’s the ideal site to enjoy the view and a picnic.

Wrest Park – Bedfordshire’s best kept secret
A three-centuries old stately home set in 92 acres of restored gardens, Wrest Park is one of 
Bedfordshire’s best kept secrets and just 11 miles from Luton.
English Heritage have owned the park since 2006 when they began a 20-year restoration project partly-financed by a £1.14 million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. It is the first major restoration project in a century.
You can enjoy the fruits of this effort all the year round. Some of the attractions on offer include: an Easter Adventure Quest, a St George’s Day Festival, a summer garden show, an autumn event and a Christmas Festival. Go to their web site for up-to-date news.

Ideal for families as there is a free play area and restaurant for all to enjoy. The children also lose themselves is the acres of gardens, trees and outside buildings.
The house is full of activities and information showing how things were hundreds of years ago. Our children lost themselves and had a fantastic time.
We now visit 2 or 3 times a month and especially enjoyable during the summer and autumn months. There are free concerts and live music. Take a Sunday picnic and enjoy.
