Falkes Scout District Carol Service
Central Baptist Church was the venue for the district Carol Service lead by the Rev Andrew Gale for a fun packed evening. This was made even more interesting because of two burglaries which included the theft of the sound system.
It became the ‘Carol Service on a Stick’ to provide music for the evening.
Many tradition Christmas Carols were song plus Bible Stories of the birth of Jesus read by Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders throughout the service.
There were refreshments and other Christmas goodies were proved by World Scout Jamboree Explorer Emily Baker, mum Judy and other Santa helpers (Emily manage to raise over £80, nice one)
The evening came to conclusion with DC Mark Webb making a Bar to the Medal of Merit presentation to Norma Watson for years of amazing service to Scouting in Luton then a thank you to all who lead or support scouting in the District. Finally there was a wish for all to have a Merry Christmas.
