First aid was supervised by a parent of the group who works as a paramedic. Cooking marshmallows over candles and many more varied fun activities were demonstrated.

During the evening some time was given over to celebrate the achievements of David `Baggy` Holmes who has recently retired as Cub leader after 29 years. In his honour the latest addition to their fleet, a new RIB safety boa,t was named Baggy after him.

Various members from the District representing the sections had been invited and one remarked how well behaved the young people had been and what an impressive show they had put on.
