New County Lead Volunteer
We are pleased to announce, that Rob Pullinger has been appointed as County Lead Volunteer for Bedfordshire.
Rob has volunteered with Scouts for nearly 16 years holding a number of roles including Assistant Scout Leader, Group Scout Leader, District Commissioner and County Trustee. He’s supported programmes across Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and held a number of support roles including Local Training Manager and Appointments Secretary. Rob is also a County Trainer, delivering Manager & Supporter Training, supporting Trustees and First Response.
Most recently, Rob has been the County Chair for Bedfordshire and has been working with Andy Goddon as Acting County Lead Volunteer while the role has been vacant.
In addition to volunteering with Scouts, Rob is a treasurer and trustee of the Lions International Blood Research Appeal, a charity which supports the haematology department at King’s College Hospital.
In his professional life, Rob works as a programme manager in the in the supply chain organisation of a global pharmaceutical company.
Speaking of his appointment said, “I am looking forward to the opportunity to build and develop the County to support Scouts across Bedfordshire to continue to deliver great Scouting for Young People across Bedfordshire”.
