Date: 4th Mar 2017 Author: Gerald Law
Two volunteers from Luton’s Icknield District have been honoured in the St George’s Day Awards announced this week.

John Higgens and Teresa Loughbrough have both received a Silver Acorn from the Scout Association. It is awarded only to those with over 20 year’s specially distinguished service to the movement.

The pair now have the opportunity to attend the annual parade at Windsor Castle next month along with around 800 Queen’s Scouts.
